Martin Wong joined BNP Paribas in 2015 and is currently an Executive Director and Head of Exchanged Traded Solutions Sales, Asia-Pacific. Martin is responsible for the bank’s existing businesses of warrant and CBBC in the region, as well as developing Exchange Traded Solutions in the region. Martin has gained extensive experience in listed products across Asia including structured warrants, CBBCs, futures, options and ETFs. He has also served in sales and marketing roles in distribution of common equity-linked products, structured products and correlation-linked structures to private and consumer banks and other financial institutions in the region. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Martin was a Director and Head of warrants at Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited from 2013 to 2015 and an Executive Director of Rabobank International within the Equity Derivatives department from 2005 to 2013. Martin holds a MSc in Insurance and Risk Management from CASS Business School, London and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London. Martin has been a course lecturer for Hong Kong Baptist University since 2011 specialized in teaching the subject of Securities Derivatives and Risk Management. His investment banking experience has allowed Martin to blend textbook theories with practical case studies in his teaching, which has been well accepted over the years.
