LI Tsz Shu, James, Senior Director of Tencent Financial Technology, heads the Hong Kong, Macao and cross-border financial affairs. James leads his teams on FinTech implementation strategy in the Greater Bay Area; product design and development including digital payments, eKYC and smart city; industry penetration strategy of Wechat Pay HK; public affairs and policy; strategic collaboration and project management; and the Tencent Finance Academy. Before joining Tencent, James was the Vice General Manager of the Tianjin Wuqing National Development Area Company. James is a multiple-awards winner with an excellent cross-disciplinaries background. Apart from being awarded the Medal of Commendation from the Secretary for Home Affairs, HKSAR Government, James was also awarded the Peking University Innovation Award and the US Committee 100 Leadership Award. James obtained a Master Degree of Management Science from Peking University after graduating from the Medical Faculty of the University of Hong Kong.
