MScFin (FTFA) students visited the Bank of China Innovation Lab

Our MScFin (FTFA) students visited the Bank of China Innovation Lab located in the Hong Kong Science Park on May 24, 2023. The visit aimed to provide students with a firsthand experience of the latest technological advancements in banking and finance.

During the visit, the students were given a tour of the lab and introduced to several cutting-edge technologies, including the open banking ecosystem, robotic process automation, network graph platform, AI credit model, federated learning, synthetic data, and the metaverse.

The students had the opportunity to engage in a group discussion with the lab’s experts, where they had a chance to ask questions and gain insights into the future of banking and finance. They also had the chance to explore the potential applications of these technologies in the industry and how they could help shape the future of banking.

The visit was a valuable experience for the students as it provided them with a deeper understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the financial industry.
